I started this channel in 2011 to tell the origin story of modern ideas. Each video follows an ancient problem through modern times. It was inspired by James Burke's Connections, Carl Sagan's Cosmos and Adam Curtis's documentires.

In 2012 I was lucky that Sal Khan reached out to support my work via Khan Academy and I spent 6 years publishing my videos on their platform.

In 2017 IEEE Society funded several of my videos focused on groundbreaking papers from Information Theory.

In Dec 2024 I began focusing on this channel full time.
